Sleeking Bone

The Abbeyhorn Sleeking Bone is used primarily to restore smoothness to Cordovan shoes. The bone is about 8” in length and tapered at the end for accessing small, awkward spaces. The snake-headed sleeking bone is used to recompress fibres and pores to restore the original appearance to the material.

To use, rub the large side of the bone along the shoe in a circular motion. Once the scuff marks and other impressions have been removed, brush and buff the leather. Polish normally, and enjoy the smooth, newer appearance of your shoes.

It does the job

I'm a leather care hobbyist; I work with primarily leather shoes and boots. The product is used to fix and smooth out damaged leather. The curved tool means it's good for gripping and getting certain angles. Happy with my purchase.
