Returns Policy
Bootblack strives to deliver outstanding products and excellent service, so we promise to do our very best to make right any issues along the way.
With that in mind, here are some things you might want to know...
- If you change your mind, we will happily take back unopened product for a refund within 30 days of purchase
- Contact us within 5 days of purchase if your item arrived faulty or damaged
- We do not accept any returns/exchanges after 30 days from purchase date
- No refund on samples
- You must be the original purchaser of the product and able to provide an order number or account email address
- Original shipping costs are non-refundable
- You are responsible for all shipping costs related to returning your item(s)
Change of Mind
If you have changed your mind, please send us an email at sales@bootblack.com.au, no explanation required.
Once your return is received and inspected, your refund will be processed and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment.
Exchanges
If an item you have ordered is faulty and you would like an exchange, please send us an email at sales@bootblack.com.au.
Once your return is received and inspected, a replacement item will be sent out to you.
Refunds
If an item you have ordered is faulty and you would like a refund, please send us an email at sales@bootblack.com.au.
Once your return is received and inspected, your refund will be processed and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment.
Partial Refunds/Credit
There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted:
- Any item not in its original condition
- Damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error
In these instances, a 15% restocking fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
Original Shipping Fees
Unfortunately, we cannot refund the original shipping fee for your returned items. We completely understand if you didn't like the item or you accidentally ordered the wrong item, but shipping is a third-party service that still needs to be paid for.
For all full order refunds where free shipping was provided, we will deduct our actual postage cost from the refund amount.
Late or Missing Refunds
Please allow 3-5 days for your refund to go through. If you are unable to see it in your account, please contact your bank as there is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
If you are shipping an item over $50, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
